My current research focuses on the recent range expansion of the Forest Red-tailed Black-cockatoo (Calyptrhynchus banksii naso) into the urban areas of Perth, Western Australia, and the ways the cockatoos have adapted to urban life. The main focus has been on diet and foraging ecology in both their native forest habitat and the new urban habitat of the Perth metro area.
