Urban Red-tailed Black-cockatoos: Cocky Notes article

Cocky Notes is a short publication released by Birdlife WA to keep the public updated on Black-cockatoo research in the Southwest. The most recent issue was released yesterday and includes an article about my project. How exciting! The articles in this issue cover all three of our Black-cockatoo species.

Red-tailed Black-cockatoos:

  • Urban Red-tailed Black-cockatoos (my project!)

Carnaby's Black-cockatoos:

  • Results of the 2015 Great Cocky Count
  • Records of Carnaby's nesting attempts
  • Use of artificial hollows by Carnaby's
  • A new Master's project on Carnaby's roost sites (ECU)

Baudin's Black-cockatoos:

  • Baudin's and bird netting
